I do have ideas for both my poster and my paper. For the paper I was thinking of the idea of "what a difference a year makes" and showing not only the differences in my writing from before and after the PWE but also the before and after results that occured within our branding effort.
As for the poster I was going to do something more along the lines of something cheeky like "how to convince someone to invest" and the idea that the communications that went through my department were fundemental in starting and maintaing relationships with alumni and donors who financially support the college. The poster would display the various kinds of communications we did and why each sample had importance in the overall scheme.

I especially like your poster idea. I am not really sure whether you do one thing in your internship or not, but I really like that you are taking just one responsibility (a large one at that though)and showing the different communication techniques. I believe that you could be really effective in terms of organization. Do you mean to show correspondence with everyone? This sounds neat to see how you influenced them. I will be looking forward to seeing it!

I love both of your ideas for the paper and poster! Very creative and for the poster, I think will be focused enough which is a plus. I know you do a lot of different things in your job/internship so focusing in on something like investing is a great idea!

Your idea for the web portfolio is smart because it allows you to focus your attention as well as your readers' attention on the range of skills you've developed as a direct result of your PWE coursework and internship; the idea for the poster presentation is going to be vary interesting to the guests at the exhibit because it poses--and answers--a question that many readers will want to know more about -- it sheds light on a crucial, yet often overlooked, aspect of how universities and other donor-supported organizations function.
